Bespoke Mobile Kitchen Island

Looking for a functional solution to increase worktop space yet keeping the flexibility of the space itself, our client wanted us to design and make a portable island that they could move in and out of position depending on their need.

With a clear design brief, we designed and made this fully bespoke island, utilising an offcut piece of worktop the client had stored in their garage. Within the small unit, we included recycling and non-recycling bin drawers, chopping board storage, drawers, and a compost chute built into the worktop, all with handmade shaker-style doors and drawer fronts. We sat the unit on heavy-duty castors, allowing the island to be positioned up against a wall when not in use.

The result is this stunning and unique piece, improving our client's use of their kitchen, especially when entertaining guests with the flexibility they were seeking.
