Pucket Board Game

Developing our 10 Week Design Programme with family learning CIC Aprxtra, we designed and made a giant pucket game. Here learners developed key woodworking skills, while learning numeracy covering topics such as arithmetic, unit conversion, ratio and patterns making. Hosted at Diego's Joint Bar in Sunderland the pucket table was made in response to a design brief set out by the bar staff, looking to create a fun game for visitors. This was a fun, practical, learner centred approach to teaching where learners used a live project to bond, grow and learn together.
